Dr. Sharad Malhotra is Senior Consultant & HOD of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Therapeutic Endoscopy at Aakash Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka, where he has practised since January 2011, bringing 26 years of experience to the department. His core specialities include therapeutic endoscopy, liver disease management, and ERCP for biliary and pancreatic conditions. He treats GI bleeding, liver cirrhosis, hepatitis, and gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers, performing procedures such as endoscopic variceal ligation, stricture dilatation, and capsule endoscopy. Dr. Malhotra completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Government Medical College, his DNB in General Medicine from Holy Family Hospital, and his DNB in Gastroenterology from Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, alongside a Fellowship in HIV Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College. His achievements include the Dr. H Khosla Award for Most Outstanding Doctor and the Dr. S K Sama National Gold Medal for DNB Gastroenterology.
